Dhamaal (English: Fun) is a 2007 Hindi Caper film directed and produced by Indra Kumar and starring Riteish, Sanjay Dutt, Arshad Warsi, Javed Jaffrey and Aashish Chaudhary.
This movie is a remake of the 1963 American comedy, It’s a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World. It also have influences of other contemporary movies such as Road Trip, Bean – The Movie, Mr Bean, Rat Race, Dude, Where’s My Car? and Johnny English.
A sequel to the film was released in June 2011, under the title of Double Dhamaal, with the whole cast reprising their roles, with new additions to the cast including Kangna Ranaut and Mallika Sherawat.

According to Box office India, Dhamaal had a “good to average opening” and collected Rs. 230 million (Rs. 23 crore) during its opening weekend in India. By the end of its first week, the film collected Rs. 32.24 crore. After three weeks, the film grossed Rs. 39 crore in India, and Rs. 49.75 crore worldwide. Box Office India declared it with a final verdict of Semi-Hit.
